Salbutamol  It is a short-acting β₂ adrenergic receptor agonist that causes relaxation of airway smooth muscle. Salbutamol is primarily used to treat asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), such as coughing, wheezing and feeling of other breathing disorders. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways, making it easier to breathe. It is commonly administered through an inhaler or nebulizer.It provides quick relief of symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness during asthma attacks or flare-ups of COPD. Additionally, it may be used before exercise to prevent exercise-induced bronchospasm.
